Your assignment fee is confirmed before you accept.
LaborMap does not reduce your confirmed subcontractor fee after acceptance. LaborMap's user-facing package price may also include operations, scheduling, and admin work.
LaborMap is building a vetted roster of independent subcontracted linguists for fixed-fee Language Desk packages. LaborMap sells the package to the user or sponsor, confirms the assignment scope, and pays the linguist the agreed subcontractor fee.
Language Desk packages are sold by LaborMap. Linguists remain independent contractors who accept or decline assignments and are paid by LaborMap under confirmed subcontractor terms.
LaborMap does not reduce your confirmed subcontractor fee after acceptance. LaborMap's user-facing package price may also include operations, scheduling, and admin work.
Scope, schedule, travel, urgent-work conditions, confidentiality, and payment timing are confirmed with LaborMap before you accept an assignment.
Roster registration is non-exclusive. You use your own tools, set your availability, and may decline any introduction without penalty.
Each language is shown as available only after at least two vetted linguists are ready.
Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer, Nepali, Indonesian, Thai.
Burmese, Uzbek/Russian, Tagalog/English, Sinhala, Bengali.
Mongolian, Urdu, Kyrgyz, Lao, Tetum/Portuguese, Tamil.
The roster supports communication and faithful language work. It does not turn linguists into legal advisers or representatives.
For LaborMap Language Desk packages, transparent fixed pricing protects workers and clear subcontractor fees protect linguists.
The user pays LaborMap for the confirmed package. Do not ask the worker for extra payment, travel money, urgent fees, or side arrangements unless LaborMap has confirmed the exception before acceptance.
Example subcontractor ranges are confirmed by assignment type, language, difficulty, timing, and travel. The user-facing package price may differ because it can include LaborMap operations and admin work.
Written take-home translation is not the default test because AI use is hard to detect. Live interpretation is a better first filter.
Send your languages, Korean level, experience or credentials, usual contact times, and preferred work types.
Shortlisted applicants may complete a 15-20 minute live test using a fictional Labor Office or support-center scenario with no real personal data.
A verified translation or interpreting credential for the relevant language pair may waive the live test. Orientation still applies.
If LaborMap needs written translation or site review output that may be used, it is handled as a short paid test or paid review request.
Before listing, complete confidentiality, personal-data handling, safety-boundary, and pricing-policy orientation.
