This page explains what the current static website does, what information may be handled if paid Language Desk support begins, and the boundaries that apply before any information is shared with an independent subcontracted linguist or certified professional.
Paid-support safeguards
Operator details, refund policy, PG workflow, and paid-intake consent language are published for the quote-based Language Desk model. Tax/receipt and retention details may be updated as external confirmations and professional review are completed.

What the current website processes
The deployed MVP is designed to minimize collection.
Static pages and directory
LaborMap Korea does not require an account and does not have a server-side intake database. The office directory loads a project-hosted JSON file and does not send your search terms to LaborMap.
Support intake summary
The form on Request Support creates a summary inside your browser. It does not submit, upload, email, or save the entered information. The summary disappears when the page state is cleared.
External AI tools
If you paste the Master Prompt or your facts into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another service, that provider processes the information under its own terms. LaborMap Korea does not receive that content. Remove passport, ARC, bank-account, full-address, medical, and third-party identifiers first.
Privacy-friendly website analytics
Vercel Web Analytics records aggregate page views and limited interaction events such as language changes, prompt copies, path choices, and intake-summary creation. The site does not send the text you enter, calculated amounts, timeline records, names, or contact details as analytics event data.
Information that may be collected for support
This section applies only after the user deliberately sends a support request through a separately published contact channel.

Refusing optional information must not prevent access to the free public website. If information is essential to a requested paid task, the user will be told why it is needed before collection.
Independent professional: separate consent
No worker information is automatically sent to a certified labor consultant or lawyer.
Before any third-party provision
The user must choose the professional path and receive a separate notice identifying the recipient, purpose, exact information, retention period, and consequences of refusing consent. Consent to language support is not consent to share information with a professional.
- Recipient: the specifically named professional or firm, not a generic partner category
- Purpose: initial consultation or direct professional engagement chosen by the user
- Information: only the minimum facts or documents the user approves
- Retention: stated separately by the recipient; after direct engagement, that professional applies their own privacy policy
- Contact: the professional contacts the user directly after the approved introduction; the operator does not accept an engagement on the professional's behalf
- Group chat: a KakaoTalk or other multi-party chat is created only after every participant expressly agrees; no additional participant is added without a new notice and agreement
- Fee separation: no referral fee or sharing of the professional's fee
Deletion and security
- Electronic files: permanently delete using a method intended to prevent restoration
- Paper records: shred or otherwise destroy so the information cannot be recovered
- Access: restrict to the operator and separately authorized recipients
- Transfer: use a controlled channel and avoid unnecessary identifiers
- Incident handling: document and respond under applicable Korean privacy requirements

Terms of Use
These terms summarize the service boundary described in the project's legal-document draft.
1. Service purpose and character
LaborMap Korea provides self-help information, AI prompts, Labor Office directory information, and potential language or clerical support. It is not a law firm, certified labor consultant office, administrative scrivener office, or legal service provider.
2. Services provided and not provided
Available services may include worker-directed self-help tools, verbatim translation of worker-prepared statements, interpretation, fax transmission, and receipt-confirmation calls. The operator does not provide legal or labor advice, representation, complaint drafting, settlement representation, success-fee case handling, or result guarantees.
3. User responsibility
The user is responsible for the accuracy of supplied facts and for reviewing, editing, approving, signing, and submitting any final complaint. AI output must be checked and must not be treated as a final legal conclusion.
4. Fees, cancellation, subcontractors, and professional engagements
LaborMap Language Desk fees are fixed package fees based on translation, interpretation, or clerical work, not the amount claimed or recovered. LaborMap may use independent subcontracted linguists and pay them separately under subcontractor terms. The published cancellation and refund policy applies to LaborMap packages and must be shown or linked before payment: refunds depend on whether work has started, what part has been provided, no-show/waiting-time rules, and any pre-disclosed pass-through expense. Refunds due are processed within 3 business days after the refund amount is confirmed. A licensed professional is a separate path: the user engages and pays that professional directly under a separate agreement, and only that professional's written quote and engagement terms apply.
5. Deadlines, external services, and results
Deadlines vary by issue. The operator does not control external AI providers, Labor Office decisions, or professional outcomes. No recovery, acceptance, or result is guaranteed.
6. Governing law and operating terms
Korean law applies. The operator identity, contact channel, cancellation/refund policy, quote-based payment flow, privacy consent boundaries, and document-sharing limits are published. Tax/receipt handling, PG refund details, retention periods, and dispute handling may be updated as external confirmations and professional review are completed.
